SNP-REACH

Stanford Neurodiversity Project Education, Research & Advocacy

Selected Participant · Summer 2025

As a selected participant in Stanford's SNP-REACH program, I explored neurodiversity through education, research, advocacy, and collaborative project development. Throughout the program, we explored strengths-based approaches and design-thinking frameworks while working collaboratively to develop advocacy projects that addressed issues within the neurodivergent community.

What I Explored

STRENGTH BASED MODEL APPROACHES

Explored approaches that recognized and built upon neurodivergent strengths.

Examined how education, research, and storytelling can challenge misconceptions and promote greater understanding and perspectives of neurodiversity.

NEURODIVERSITY ADVOCACY

DESIGN THINKING

Learned to identify and read the world's needs and develop solutions centered on the experiences of the people they are designed to help.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

Worked collaboratively with other students to turn these ideas into a project addressing a need within the neurodivergent community.
